CABO ROIG
Cabo Roig is a lively area of the Orihuela Costa very popular with both British and Irish expats and holidaymakers. The coastal area is just a short walk from the strip and has a main sandy beach next to its small marina. Here visitors can enjoy good facilities and a selection of bars and restaurants. All around the headland are rocky coves and reefs ideal for snorkelling. Lively both day and night, the strip lies on both sides of the N-332 dual carriageway. The beach side of the strip is the most popular and boasts a larger amount of shops and entertainment venues. Access to both sides of the strip is via two overhead walkways at each end. A wide variety of Irish, Australian Thai, Indian, Chinese and – of course – Spanish serve excellent food at great value prices.
Local’s tip: drop by Bushwacka Bar which really gets rocking at night with regular live entertainment, DJ’s and theme and foam parties.
